Cancellation and Refund Policy

AdexPilot plan and credit-pack charges are approved and billed through Shopify. You can cancel future recurring billing, and you can ask AdexPilot to review a billing adjustment or refund.

Last updated: July 27, 2026Contact: support@adexpilot.com
Uninstalling a paid Shopify app automatically cancels future recurring app charges, but Shopify does not automatically credit the unused part of the current billing period. A charge already generated for the current cycle can still appear on the merchant's Shopify bill.

1. Refund requests

Except where applicable law requires otherwise, Shopify app-subscription and one-time credit-pack charges are non-refundable unless AdexPilot approves a full or partial billing adjustment through Shopify. Send requests to support@adexpilot.com. A request is not a guarantee of approval.

Submit a request promptly after the charge appears. AdexPilot does not promise a fixed discretionary refund window or resolution time. Eligibility depends on verification of the requester and charge, the charge's Shopify billing state, Shopify's available adjustment tools and time limits, service and credit usage, and applicable law. We will communicate the result after that review. A refund request does not itself cancel a subscription or stop a future renewal; use the cancellation controls separately.

  • We first verify the requester's authority, installed store, workspace, Shopify charge reference, amount, currency, and current provider status.
  • We review the Shopify charge status, billing date, cancellation or uninstall timing, duplicate or unauthorized-charge evidence, service usage, credit consumption, support history, and applicable legal requirements.
  • Canceling or uninstalling does not by itself create a refund, app credit, or prorated adjustment for the current billing period.
  • A charge already added to an upcoming Shopify bill might require an app credit; a charge already collected might require a refund. The available adjustment depends on Shopify's billing state and tools.
  • Shopify's technical or time limits can prevent an ordinary app credit or refund and can require review by Shopify Support.
  • We do not issue refunds because a connected provider changes, limits, suspends, or discontinues its service.
  • We do not guarantee advertising, feed, catalog, revenue, profit, ROAS, POAS, or other business results.

2. Canceling your subscription

You may cancel your AdexPilot subscription at any time through the billing controls available in your account. AdexPilot sends the cancellation through Shopify and verifies the resulting subscription state. If you cannot access the cancellation controls, contact support@adexpilot.com from the email address associated with your workspace and include the Shopify store name.

The cancellation flow will show whether cancellation is immediate or effective at the end of the current billing period and whether Shopify applies any proration or credit. You remain responsible for charges incurred before the effective cancellation.

3. Uninstalling the app

  • Shopify automatically cancels the app subscription when AdexPilot is uninstalled, which stops future recurring billing cycles.
  • Shopify does not automatically credit the unused part of the current billing period, and the merchant may still be billed for a charge already generated for that cycle.
  • A one-time credit-pack purchase is not reversed merely because the app is later uninstalled.
  • Uninstalling fences new Shopify reads, writes, and scheduled work, but it does not automatically delete the AdexPilot account, workspace, required audit records, or data retained under our Privacy Policy.
  • Use the documented export and deletion controls or contact support for account-data requests.

4. Trials

If a trial converts automatically to a paid subscription, you must cancel or uninstall before the trial ends to avoid the first recurring charge. Shopify shows the trial and renewal terms when you approve the subscription. A charge created after the trial is not automatically refunded because the app is later canceled or uninstalled.

5. Plan changes and credits

Plan upgrades and downgrades can require a new Shopify-hosted approval. Shopify can prorate, credit, defer, or immediately apply a plan change depending on the plans and billing intervals involved.

Internal AdexPilot credits are service-capacity units, not cash or stored value. Included credits follow the exact plan and billing cycle shown in the AdexPilot checkout. No rollover should be assumed unless the catalog expressly provides it. Unless applicable law or the displayed plan terms require otherwise, unused included credits end with the applicable entitlement or cycle and are not separately refundable, transferable, or redeemable for cash. Expired credits are unavailable for new work, and expiration alone does not create a refund, app credit, or cash entitlement.

A credit reservation is not final consumption. If the associated task fails or is canceled without a chargeable outcome, the unused reservation is released. Before a billing adjustment, pending reservations are settled or released against the actual outcome. If AdexPilot approves a refund or app credit for a one-time credit pack, unused credits from the associated lot can be removed and expired or reserved credits reconciled. Already consumed credits remain consumed and can affect refund eligibility or amount, except where applicable law requires different treatment.

6. Billing errors and unauthorized charges

If you believe a charge resulted from a billing error or unauthorized account use, contact support@adexpilot.com promptly with the workspace and Shopify store name, charge date, charge reference, amount, currency, and a description of the issue. AdexPilot reviews Shopify app-charge requests and, when approved and available, issues the adjustment through Shopify.

7. Legal rights

Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable cancellation, refund, or consumer rights that apply under law. Where applicable law requires a refund or different cancellation treatment, that law will control.

8. Contact

Product, account, or cancellation questions can be sent to support@adexpilot.com. Send billing-error, Shopify invoice, credit, and refund requests to the same address with the information listed above.
